This lightly spiced, orange smoothie will brighten up your morning! Don't let its gorgeous hue fool you; this is one powerhouse breakfast! Every sip is packed with Vitamins A and C, healthy Omega 3s and a little bit of gingery goodness!
- 1 Banana
- 1 1/2 cups Carrot juice
- 1 1/2 tbsps Chia seeds
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups Frozen mango
- 1 1/2 tsps Turmeric root
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsps Fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 tsps Maple syrup
1. The night before: peel the banana, break into chunks, and freeze.
2. Wash all the produce well. Peel and chop the turmeric root and fresh ginger.
3. Add the carrot juice, frozen mango, banana, turmeric root, chia seeds, cinnamon, maple syrup, fresh ginger and black pepper to blender. Blend for 45–60 seconds until smooth.
