Our first 30mins of class focuses on opening and strengthening a particular area of the body in preparation for deep stretch. The Vinyasa Yoga class flows through variations of classic Rasamaya Yoga sun salutes and postures. 30 minutes is plenty of time for this efficient workout.
Stay for the Therapeutic Deep Stretch class after to help your body reach it's maximum performance potential. This class is a 30minute long class set to music that is designed to improve flexibility and reduce stress. We will loosen and lengthen while using simple stretching techniques, yin yoga, foam rollers, massage balls, bands, straps and more. Give yourself the gift of self care.
Retreat Format (coming soon): We recognize that individual sessions are costly so we designed a six-week course. Over the years Carrie has found that certain exercises get assigned to almost every client and are universally applicable. The group clinic is focused on these more generalized corrective exercises with tons of personal attention given (which is why you must do an initial evaluation). Every week will address different common alignment issues with a large focus on spinal integrity, proper joint loading, core strength and the role of the nervous system in pain. Stress management and meditation will also be taught every single week. Videos and handouts will accompany the in-class materials. Group clients may also purchase single private sessions to fine tune the work they do in class.

This 30 minute athletic workout is all about power and cardiovascular endurance. It utilizes Rasamaya's trademarked HIIT rule of threes (3 exercises, 3 sets, 30 seconds) and combines it with the lengthening and strengthening aspects of the Rasamaya barre classes you already love. The HIIT Barre classes are challenging and are appropriate for those looking for an intense workout. If you have any cardiovascular issues please speak with us and get clearance from your doctor prior to attending. Heart rate monitors are strongly recommended. Trust us, 30 minutes is plenty of time for this vigorous and efficient workout.

I am a modern yogini, and I do what ever I need to do to feel my most beautiful. I have an expressive face (though I haven’t frowned in like six years). My grandmother used to smack me in the forehead and warn me to stop crinkling up my forehead as a kid or I would get wrinkles. I got the wrinkles, and with that a complex about them. So, I got rid of the wrinkles. Much happier. Seriously, I believe in doing whatever you need to do to feel beautiful and will never, ever judge you for it.

In your first session we will develop a plan to get you 100% free from pain. Postural analysis, functional tests, and gait analysis, will be done to determine the root cause of your pain. You will leave your first session with some simple corrective exercises and mindfulness techniques, plus the peace of mind that you have been truly heard and understood. Our second session will focus on teaching you a series of exercises and some new mindfulness techniques to set you on your path to healing. Subsequent sessions are all about fine tuning your exercises, correcting your posture, and creating new neural pathways to help you live a pain free life. You can expect most sessions to be sent home with easy to understand pictures, graphics and links to videos to make it easy to do your therapy at home. Appointments are one hour, except for initial sessions which may run closer to an hour and half. Read more about what to expect in your first session.
Skype and FaceTime sessions are exactly like in person sessions, except that they offer you the ability to receive the same high quality personalized therapy from the comfort of home. Convenient and highly effective, all you need is a computer and webcam with Skype software or a FaceTime account. Email is fast, convenient and slightly less expensive then our in-person or Skype options. Just fill out our questionnaire with detailed information about your pain, limitations, and goals and submit photos of your posture (front, back, right side, left side). Just like our in-person and Skype sessions, Carrie will evaluate your posture and send you a personalized program of corrective exercises and instructional videos within 5 days. Weekly check-ins will be completed via email and may require an occasional phone consultation.
